Asia’s superstar and Filipina actress Kathryn Bernardo was listed among the actors and actresses for the Seoul Drama Awards (SDA) this year.

In an article released by SDA on May 22, they revealed the artists that were nominated under the category of “Outstanding Asian Stars” picked from six countries.

Representing the Philippines, Bernardo was nominated along with other stars from Thailand, Korea, China, Japan, and Taiwan.

Other known artists that were nominated were Song Joong-Ki, Park Eun-Bin, and Song Hye-Kyo.

Even before this nomination, Bernardo created a milestone in her entertainment career after receiving prestigious international awards such as the “Face of the Year” award in 2016 and 2018.

Hence, this will be the first time that Bernardo has been nominated for such an award by Korea.

The said prestigious award was presented at the same ceremony attended by her co-artist, Belle Mariano, who won the Outstanding Asian Star award last year.

SDA announced that the official awarding ceremony this year will be on September 21, and winners will be chosen based on the cast votes on their app, which will open on June 15.
