ABS-CBN continues to elevate Filipino storytelling as its programs, movies, and stars, including Coco Martin, Joshua Garcia, Kaila Estrada, and Charo Santos, earned recognitions from educators at the 28th Gawad PASADO Awards.

“Hari ng Aksyon sa Ating Henerasyon” Coco Martin was named PinakaPASADOng Aktor sa Telebisyon for his outstanding performance as Tanggol in the hit action-drama series, “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,” which also won as PinakaPASADOng Programa sa Telebisyon.

Award-winning actress Charo Santos also earned the PinakaPASADOng Aktres award for her impressive performance in “Only We Know.”

Star Cinema’s heartfelt family drama, “Meet, Greet & Bye,” took home the PinakaPASADOng Pelikula award, while Joshua Garcia also won PinakaPASADOng Aktor for his role in the film.

Kaila Estrada was recognized as the PinakaPASADOng Aktres sa Telebisyon for her remarkable portrayal of Atty. Erica Melendez in the drama series “What Lies Beneath.”

Meanwhile, child actor Lucas Andalio also received the PinakaPASADOng Batang Aktor award for his performance in the movie “Call Me Mother.”

Organized by the Pampelikulang Samahan ng mga Dalubguro (PASADO), the Gawad PASADO Awards recognizes outstanding achievements in Philippine film and television.
