For generations of Filipino families, Nestlé CHUCKIE has been more than just a chocolate milk drink—it is the Kids’ No. 1 Favorite baon that is both nutritious and delicious, and an avenue for parents and children to bond and create meaningful memories together. To ensure that more families can continue sharing these special moments, Nestlé Philippines has invested nearly half a billion pesos in expanding its ready-to-drink manufacturing facility in Tanauan City, which will produce an additional 144 million packs of Nestle CHUCKIE chocolate milk drink annually.
At the inauguration ceremony of the Nestlé Tanauan factory expansion, Nestlé Philippines Chairman and CEO Mauricio Alarcón emphasized the importance of this milestone to the company’s commitment to nourish Filipino families, including generations of CHUCKIE Buddies.

“This investment enables us to serve more CHUCKIE to Filipino families with products they know, enjoy, and trust,” said Alarcón. “We share this milestone with our teams, our partners, our stakeholders, and most especially, the families who continue to welcome Nestlé into their homes. May this achievement stand as another clear expression of our promise to serve Filipino families with care, quality, and enduring trust for many more years to come.”

Also present during the event were Tanauan City Mayor Nelson “Sonny” P. Collantes, Vice Mayor Wilfredo Alboa, city councilors, and local representatives.
The expansion of the manufacturing facility also strengthens local supply chains while creating more job opportunities within the value chain and driving economic development in Tanauan City and surrounding municipalities.
“The growing demand for CHUCKIE challenges us to keep improving how we serve consumers. With this expansion, we are increasing our capacity to deliver consistently, while upholding the quality, safety, and reliability that people expect from Nestlé,” said Nestlé Tanauan Factory Manager Neil Desabelle.
Nourishing Generations
At the heart of this operational growth is Nestlé’s dedication to enabling healthier, happier lives for Filipino families. Recognizing the prevalence of micronutrient deficiencies across age groups, it offers science-based, fortified food and beverage options that help consumers meet their daily dietary requirements alongside a balanced diet and active lifestyle.

In 2025, Nestlé provided 25 billion fortified servings in the Philippines, helping households choose good without compromising on taste or budget. Formulated with the optimum blend of vitamins and minerals to support children’s development, CHUCKIE chocolate milk drink has Calcium and Vitamin D for strong bones, Iron and Zinc for sharp minds, and Protein to supplement growth.
CHUCKIE chocolate milk drink also empowers families to choose good by being a partner of the Nestlé Wellness Campus, the largest nutrition education program in the country, and utilizing Fit for Purpose and Ready for Recycling packaging, and paper straws to reduce material use and help address post-consumer plastic waste.
Beyond product fortification, Nestlé is actively driving nutrition education programs, developing innovations, and fostering partnerships with local experts to contribute to better nutrition and well-being in the country—guided by its purpose of unlocking the power of food to enhance quality of life for everyone, today and for generations to come.
