Award-winning actress Janine Gutierrez has renewed her ties with ABS-CBN after signing an exclusive contract with the Kapamilya network in an event dubbed “Solid Kapamilya: The Janine Gutierrez Network Contract Signing.”

“Sobrang surreal na pumirma na ako ng pangalawang kontrata ko with ABS-CBN kasi dati it was just something that I was looking forward to and now ramdam na ramdam ko talaga na Kapamilya ako kaya sobrang grateful po talaga ako,” said Janine.

Present at the contract signing were ABS-CBN chairman Mark Lopez, ABS-CBN president and CEO Carlo Katigbak, ABS-CBN COO of broadcast Cory Vidanes, ABS-CBN group CFO Rick Tan, ABS-CBN head of TV production and Star Magic head Laurenti Dyogi, and talent manager Leo Dominguez.

Janine earned numerous praises for her astounding portrayal of Mila and Alexa in the recently-concluded primetime series “Dirty Linen,” which racked over 2.5 billion views on TikTok.

“Grateful ako dahil gustong gusto ko talaga yung role ko sa ‘Dirty Linen’ na medyo may pagka-bida-kontrabida in a way. Gusto ko yung gano’n role na matapang, yung hindi lang susuko kasi syempre kailangan natin ng gano’n inspirasyon,” Janine shared.

When asked if she feels any pressure after the success of “Dirty Linen,” Janine admitted that she felt nervous but remains optimistic about the upcoming projects she has with the Kapamilya network.

“Meron talagang certain pressure yung ‘Dirty Linen’ kasi naramdaman ko talaga na malaking project siya tapos bigatin lahat no’ng mga eksena ko. Luckily, grabe yung guidance ng mga direktor and it was such a fun set so iyon na lang yung iniisip kaysa yung pressure. I’m assured na sa caliber ng mga kwento natin sa ABS-CBN, I look forward to any role na i-offer nila sa akin,” Janine shared.

Aside from her remarkable role in “Dirty Linen,” she also starred in the romcom series “Marry Me, Marry You” with Paulo Avelino and the iWantTFC series “Sleep With Me” with Lovi Poe.
