However, this announcement drew mixed reactions from the netizens speculating that Sarah Geronimo would be the next Kapamilya to transfer to the rival network.

Despite the rumors, some supporters continued to back Geronimo in the case that the rumor about her move was confirmed.

Geronimo’s camp has remained silent on the subject as of writing.

This July 18, audiences in the United States, Canada, the Middle East, Europe, Hong Kong, and South Korea will be able to watch the concert live on GMA’s major international channel.

On July 19, it will be released in Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, and Japan.

Tala: The Film Concert, a one-night virtual concert, was broadcasted on KTX.ph last March 27, 2021. It includes 18 world-class performances, behind-the-scenes footage, and film concert interviews with Sarah and her collaborators, including film concert director Paul Basinillio, creative director Georcelle Dapat-Sy, and musical director Louie Ocampo.

Sarah signed a contract with ABS-CBN after winning the IBC singing competition “Star for A Night.” She was a regular on the Kapamilya network for over two decades.
