The city government of Manila is intensifying its coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) vaccination by going 24/7 soon.

The city government is now looking for volunteers to be deployed in vaccination sites — doctors, nurses, dentists, midwives, medical technologists, pharmacists, and other licensed allied health service professionals.

College graduates and students may also serve as volunteer encoders for the Manila Health Department.

“Kung sinumang lisensiyadong puwedeng magbakuna, idu-duty ko kayo sa gabi (Those who are licensed and can perform vaccination, I will assign you during night time) to replenish our workforce, our medical front-liners during the daytime,” Domagoso said during an interview Monday at the groundbreaking ceremony for the renovation of the Dr. Alejandro Albert Elementary School in Sampaloc.

Those who are interested to help the city in the 24/7 vaccination rollout may send a text message or call mobile numbers 0995-1069524 (Globe) and 0960-6040771 (Smart).

On Sunday, the city administered 39,354 vaccine doses to raise its total to 1,368,389.

Of the total, 584,436 are already fully vaccinated.

Manila still has 697 active Covid-19 cases as of Monday. (PNA)
