‘The Sims 4’ Will Be Free For All Starting October

What a way to end your day! On Wednesday, September 15, 2022, the company Electronic Arts and Maxis announced that The Sims 4 will be free to download on October 18, 2022!

Since its release in 2014, the game has been developed throughout the years into different expansions and updates. This year, the company will be providing fresh contents, newly released packs and kits to its market without having a whole new patch. Millions of inspiring stories and amazing builds have motivated EA to program The Sims 4 as a game that is accessible to the public.

The Sims 4 will be available to download on PC via EA App or Origin, on Mac via Origin, Stream, PlayStation 5, PlayStation4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One systems.

There will also be a treat for those players who purchased the base game from September 14 up to October 17, 2022 will receive a special gift! It will be a desert luxe kit that will allow the Sims to relax in a modern and luxurious indoor and outdoor furniture.

A special-edition stream will also be held on the day of its free-release to share the Behind The Sims Summit which will be streamed in The Sims YouTube and Twitch channels.
