Let’s meet Courage the Cowardly Dog with a new all-out adventure together with the Scooby-Doo gang.

Warner Bros. Entertainment finally released a trailer for the upcoming crossover movie of the beloved scary dogs Scooby-Doo and Courage the Cowardly Dog this coming September.

In the trailer, Scooby-Doo and Courage meet for the first time after Scooby wanders into Courage’s home in the middle of Nowhere, Kansas.

After that, Courage and his owners, Eustace and Muriel Bagge who live in the backwoods of Kansas, discover a strange thing that puts them on the trail of a giant cicada monster and her wacky winged warriors.

Fred, Velma, Daphne, and Shaggy are aware that this job is too big for a flyswatter so they needed the help of the two dogs to solve the mystery puzzle. With that, Scooby-Doo and Courage helped each other to solve the puzzle to fight the giant creatures before they take over the world.

Cecilia Aranovich in a statement that was published by SyFy Wire said, “[the film] is going to trigger acute nostalgia for those of us who grew up watching both Scooby-Doo and Courage shows, and it will also bring these wonderful characters to a new generation of viewers.”

The film will feature the voice talents of Frank Welker as Scooby-Doo, Fred Jones, Grey Griffin as Daphne Blake, Matthew Lillard as Shaggy Rogers, and Kate Micucci as Velma Dinkley. Also, it will feature the voice of Jeff Bergman as Eustice Bagge, Marty Grabstein as Courage the Cowardly Dog, and Thea White as Muriel Bagge.

The film was directed and produced by Cecilia Aranovich and was written by Mike Ryan. Straight Outta Nowhere: Scooby-Doo Meets Courage the Cowardly Dog will arrive on Digital and DVD in the US on September 14.

Aside from the film, it also included three bonus episodes from the Scooby-Doo franchise: “Decoy for a Dognapper” from Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!, “The Gruesome Game of the Gator Ghoul” from The Scooby-Doo/Dynomutt Hour, and “Chiller Diller Movie Thriller” from The Scooby-Doo/Dynomutt Hour.
