They say to launch a new food business, it cannot just be good; it has to be unique. This is what Miss Universe 2015 and entrepreneur Pia Wurtzbach has set off to fulfill her dream of launching her own food business.

Being rarely mentioned, Pia is a culinary arts graduate at the Center for Asian Culinary Studies. As a culinary arts graduate, she has always wanted to open a food business.

She always has dreamed of wanting to start her own food business and while planning for her concept, Pia was inspired by her travels which led her to blend her love of travel to her food venture.

As an ode to her love for food and travel, Pia excitedly shared this new milestone in her life through her Instagram account where she wrote, “So excited to share this with you! After months of preparation, meetings & food tastings… I’m finally launching my own food business.”

Pia also shared that the Pia’s World Kitchen menu is set to go on a culinary travel adventure- rotating menus are set to surprise everyone as it will change every three months to take everyone to travel with her through her food business.

For Pia’s Travel Journal Entry #1 and Pia’s World Kitchen’s first food stop, the menu is bringing everyone to taste and experience the wonders of Japan.

Japanese cuisine will be served for Pia’s Kitchen’s first culinary adventure from popular rice bowls like Beef Gyudon to Pia’s favorite pick Katsudon to crowd-pleasing Curry meals.

In her social media posts, the actress-beauty queen has been vocal about how she loves to go on adventures and can be seen posting a lot of photos on her food globetrotting.

Pia is no stranger to being an entrepreneur, having started her first food business, ‘Bestea,’ in 2019 with her ‘besties,’ host Pauleen Luna-Sotto and Chef Nia Almoro.
