Funny how we can smell celebrities in their pictures by just how clean-cut, polished nails, and ironed clothes they have during public appearances but did you know that some of them barely shower?

Hollywood stars like Brad Pitt and Jake Gyllenhaal among others have admitted that they can go days without taking a bath. And believe it or not, some revealed to wash certain body parts and prefer to be dirty looking when at home.

Bet, you are thrilled to know who are these high-end artists who have infrequent bathing habits:

1. Brad Pitt

Pitt, an American actor, who is known for his good looks and portrayed as the leading man in various box office movies revealed in a 2009 interview during the debut of his Inglourious Basterds with Eli Roth that baby wipes were his only way to clean himself when not showering.

“I got six kids. All you’ve got to do is just take (baby wipes), a couple of quick wipes under the pits. I’m getting (peed) on all day. I don’t have time to take a shower,” he told PEOPLE.

2. Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher

Mila Kunis and her husband Ashton Kutcher revealed that they and even their children seldom take a bath. The couple shared during their episode on Dax Sheppard’s Armchair Expert’s podcast on July 26, 2021.

Growing up in Ukraine, the Bad Moms star admitted that “I didn’t have hot water growing up as a child, so I didn’t shower much anyway. But when I had children, I also didn’t wash them every day. I wasn’t that parent that bathed my newborns — ever. Now, here’s the thing: If you can see the dirt on them, clean them. Otherwise, there’s no point.”

Kutcher said he just washes his armpits and crotch daily and nothing else. Kunis also shared that she washes her face twice a day but doesn’t take a shower on a daily basis.

3. Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell

This couple made headlines after their interview with The View on August shared that as they got older, they barely bathed their kids. Shepard and Bell are making their stance clear that they weren’t joking around when the wife says, “I’m a big fan of waiting for the stink. Once you catch a whiff, that’s biology’s way of letting you know you need to clean it up”.

However, aside from not taking action of bathing their kids every day when the bedtime routine wasn’t vital, the couple has also shared during their People’s interview that “California has been in a drought for ever”. Therefore, water conservation is a responsibility for them to the environment.

4. Jake Gyllenhaal

Though he doesn’t have any kids yet, Jake Gyllenhaal has the fairest answer among all the celebrities and is serious when he says that bathing is “less necessary”.

Gyllenhaal told Vanity Fair just recently this August 2021 that with regards to his shower ritual he thinks that anything about it was “revelatory”.

He even explained that “good manners and bad breath get you nowhere,” so he did. He also thinks that “there’s a whole world of not bathing that is really helpful for skin maintenance & we naturally clean ourselves,” Gyllenhaal added.
