Ever since it has been declared as a pandemic, the COVID-19 has caused a stir of panic to concerned citizens. The constant circulation of false information hasn’t been much of help either. To be fair, this is a global health issue and one to be taken seriously, however, dwelling on anxiety is not the first step in surviving it.
On March 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) has released some guidelines on how we should deal with COVID-19. Here are some tips on how to manage during this time of crisis:
1. Keep yourself informed.
Avoid news that trigger your stress, so listen only to verified news and health organizations as some fake news organizations cause misplaced panic.
In addition, try receiving updates one at a time if simultaneous flow of information can be too much.
