Anne Frank is just an ordinary Jewish girl with an ordinary family, What set her apart was she lived during an excruciating era.
She became the voice of millions of Jews during the World War 2 after her diary was discovered. Said document contained her hopes and frustrations, which she wrote while her family was hiding from the Germans.
Years later, the Germans discovered their hiding place and attacked the area. 15 year old Anne managed to escape the gas chambers but never saw her father again. She later passed away due to starvation and a disease she transmitted at the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp.
