Looks like Netflix has answered our calls once again! Trendy superhero show The Umbrella Academy is renewed for Season 2, Netflix confirms.

After the way the first season ended *with a massive cliffhanger!*  The fans sure have a lot of questions going on in their minds. Theories and mysteries could be boiling up in their heads, and for sure, they’re rejoicing over the announcement from Netflix.

Just over a month after the release of the show’s first season, Netflix announced the comeback of the superhero squad that’s derived from the Dark Horse comic book series of the same name written by My Chemical Romance’s lead singer Gerard Way. The story revolves around a dysfunctional family, particularly of 7 children who are born with superpowers on the same day but each with different parents. They are then adopted by a multi-billionaire man who trained them to save the world.

The second season will have 10 episodes just like the first. The original cast members including Ellen Page (Vanya), Tom Hopper (Luther), David Castañeda (Diego), Emmy Raver-Lampman (Allison), Robert Sheehan (Klaus), Aidan Gallagher (Number Five), and Justin H. Min (Ben) will be returning, as well as showrunner Steve Blackman.

The production of the second season of the show will begin later this year in Toronto, Canada.
