World-famous dancer Chachi Gonzales is only three months away from giving birth to her first child with fiancée Jukka Hildén but she still has the energy to keep grooving. She recently teamed up with choreographer Matt Steffanina to create a combo for Loco Contigo by DJ Snake, J Balvin, and Tyga. After Steffanina uploaded the video to his Youtube account, people were in awe over Gonzales, who proved that pregnant women can definitely get down on the dance floor.
While some were worried over the safety of her baby, Gonzales responded by saying that it was all about balance. “I’ve learned [that] when I feel good, [the] baby feels good,” she wrote on her Instagram post. Physical activities like dance are actually recommended by most doctors for pregnant women, except under special medical circumstances. Regular exercise can help reduce pregnancy complications, ease common discomforts like back pain, and even build the mother’s stamina for labor and delivery.
Chachi first shot to fame as a member of dance crew IAmMe, which eventually won the sixth season of America’s Best Dance Crew in 2011. She later left the group but continued dancing, occasionally teaching classes while in Los Angeles. She is also active on Youtube, where she announced her pregnancy last May.
