Kylie Jenner Graces Cover Of Forbes As One Of The Richest ‘Self-Made’ Women

Forbes has released their issue of richest self-made women and on the cover is the 20-year-old Kylie Jenner with a fortune of $900M.

Using her fame as part of the Kardashian-Jenner clan as an advantage, Kylie Jenner has built her fortune in less than three years and is on her way to become the youngest self-made billionaire, as stated on the cover and as captioned by Forbes in an Instagram post. The caption also added that she would unseat Mark Zuckerberg from the title who became a billionaire at 23 years old.

Included in the said issue of Forbes Magazine is an article detailing how Kylie Jenner has made millions at such a young age.

Since its launch in 2016, Kylie Cosmetics has become one of the hottest makeup industries out there and adding in her earnings from her paid app called “Kylie Jenner Official App,” merchandise from “The Kylie Shop,” TV programs such as “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” and “Life of Kylie,” brand partnerships, endorsement deals, a book series, and a massive 110M social media following, Kylie undoubtedly and flawlessly made the list.

Half-sister Kim Kardashian West, who also made the list with a net worth of $350 million, congratulated Kylie on Twitter.

However, not everyone felt the same as Kim. Others criticized Forbes for dubbing Kylie as “self-made.” One tweet states, “I keep seeing tweets about Kylie Jenner being a self made almost billionaire & I can’t help but lol. You’re not a self made billionaire when you already had millions to invest into a growing multi billion dollar industry. Self made is starting from literally nothing.”

Nevertheless, others have expressed their praise and support for Kylie’s achievement.

Other celebrities included in the list are Oprah Winfrey, Beyonce, & Celine Dion.
