For my 40th birthday celebration yesterday, pinili kong maging simple at family day ang gawin namin. I was reminded that life is too short to worry too much. As long as napapasaya, naalagaan at minamahal ko sila, wala nang makakasakit sakin na iba.
When asked about all the things she would have wanted to achieve at 40, Magdangal shared that she wanted to have saved enough money for her children to have everything they needed in the future, including college tuition & real estate. She made it clear that family was her number one priority.
She said that she while she felt that she needed to be strict with her children, she hoped that it would never make them feel less normal, as she felt as a child. However, she did not rebel as a child and does not regret being obedient to her parents.
She described her husband, Mark Escueta, as a tiger because although he seems quiet, he can be quite loud when provoked. She said that the pair make it work by communicating everything to each other. Besides working on the morning talk show “Magandang Buhay,” Magdangal also takes the time to she personal vlogs on YouTube featuring her husband and her children.
