What started as a simple announcement turned out to unexpectedly fire up the Coachella stage.

Hours prior to their performance, Beyoncé had already hint her fans whom she calls “BeyHive”, that she’s going to hit the stage at about 11:00 PM.

On that night, girls aren’t running the world, Beyoncé herself runs the world when she blasted the stage with her performance. She did made the stage a University Homecoming after a clad of yellow and black pep rallies and marching bands conquered the stage with her. There was also a mock of coming-out ceremony for Greeks.

Appearances of other artists surprised the stage including of course, her husband Jay Z who sang Déjà Vu with her affectionately.

A little dance performance with her sister, Solange to the tune of “Get Me Bodied.” But what came as a surprise is the reunion with her former Destiny’s Child groupmates, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.

Last year, Beyoncé was supposedly bound to perform 2017’s headlining Coachella slot. But due to her pregnancy with the twins, it was postponed.
