Let’s admit it, commuting can be such a hassle. Either your hair flies in all directions and you get out of the jeepney with bed hair (not the sexy kind either) or you resort to the no-fail but not so stylish messy bun. But who said that a girl on-the-go that commutes can’t sport an easy-to-replicate trendy hairstyle? Here are four ones that are quick to copy and you can rock all day:
For girls with long hair that are sick of doing the good old headband trick, the halo braid is the trendier alternative. It doesn’t take a lot of time either! It pushes back any front hair and leaves a hairstyle that looks like you spent lengthy time on it.
Step 1. Take a section of your hair right below your ear, on both sides, make sure that the portion of hair separated is thick enough to braid.
Step 2. Braid the sectioned hair until the tips, this applies for sectioned hair on both left and right side.
Step 3. Take one of the braids and wrap it across the front portion of your hair, making it look like a thin braided headband. Repeat the same step to the other portion of sectioned and braided hair.
Step 4. Secure the braided hair on the other side with a bobby pin. You may add bobby pins across the braid for extra security.
Step 5. Loosen and enlarge the braid by gently tugging out a few pieces of the braid.
Step 6. Lock in the entire look be spritzing a few pumps of hairspray on the braided hairstyle.
