Greta Thunberg is a 16-year-old Swedish activist of the environment, known for her seeking and raising awareness regarding climate change. Despite her young age, she’s both honest and unapologetic in calling out politicians and government officials because of their lack of accountability when it comes to environmental crises.

She’s famous for persuading her parents to adopt environmental saving practices such as giving up meat, reducing carbon footprint and not using air travel.

During a 6-day visit to Washington, Thunberg says, “This is not the time and place for dreams. This is the time to wake up,” while delivering her speech to politicians. “This is the biggest crisis humanity has ever faced and we need to treat it accordingly,” she added.

In the US congressional hearing, she states, “I don’t want you to listen to me. I want you to listen to the scientists.
