9. Talk to someone who will listen

Find a person who will give you their time and attention during this ungodly hours. When your melancholic mode turns on, sometimes all you need is a friend that would be open to all your heart’s rants and sentiments. They don’t have to say the right words, they just have to lend their ear for an hour or two, or as long as you need someone to be there for you.

This person may not be your best friend, partner, or family member – this could be anyone you are comfortable enough to say all your feelings without pretensions and fear of judgment. Don’t forget to thank that person after and do the same for them when they need you. These people are treasures that you should keep forever.
