Sometimes, no matter how painful it would be, you have to cut off your connections to those people who treat you less than what you deserve. You shouldn’t chase them after allowing yourself to reach out multiple times and yet to no avail. Now you just feel restless and pathetic for spending a long time rekindling a bond that has already reached the endpoint.

Let’s not have the pinpointing game on who was at fault in this situation but the important thing to remember is that you are better off without them. You cannot move forward if there’s something that’s holding you down. If you have tried and tried and tried and nothing good happens, take a deep breath and move on.
